Dear WNC Flyer riders,
After the clear guidance from the governor of North Carolina and local public health officials, it is imperative that we cancel the WNC Flyer for 2020. This is sad and disappointing for us, but it is the right thing to do in the face of the global pandemic. Our club has presented this ride for the past 16 years, in one form or another, and this is the first cancellation. Funds from this ride help further the Blue Ridge Bicycle Club’s commitment to bicycle advocacy in our community.
We will be offering three options to paid registrants:
- Defer your registration to the 2021 WNC Flyer. (Date tentatively set for Sunday, June 6, 2021).
- Donate your registration amount to Blue Ridge Bicycle Club for use in our bicycle advocacy support.
- Receive a refund for your registration. We will not refund the convenience fee charged by the registration site.
Please Respond by April 30, 2020. If you don’t respond, you will automatically get a refund check by mail. Refund checks will be sent out in 4-6 weeks.
